Very Premium-necessary Game

I agree that the premium features in this game give paying customers an advantage. Yet your example is completely flawed. You still would need the double amount of resources to keep queues running in your example. This is not possible, if you have a little (farming) competition on your island in the early game. You cannot farm endlessly in this game.

I see what you mean, but I look at the majority of islands right now, and I see maybe one active player there... So at this point in time, it is completely plausible for a player to steamroll through the rankings this way(and newer players around him). By spending more money than they can, they will have the faster resource production, combined with halving the building times, it is just an insanely unbalanced premium system.

Reason why I liked Tribal Wars more than Travian or Envoy was that they wasn't real life money based game (also dual accounting [many players on same account] was forbidden was I loved much). But now this seems very dissapointing to me.

Of course game developments wasn'ts to get money from game what they have made, it makes sense and is not unfair at all.

But this just is not right way to make it, spending money to game should not give any advance to gamer. Or at least it should not cost this much, at least it should be cheaper than it is now.

This just kills the whole game, game itself is really good and I have to say that you have made good work... but you just have to change premium of this game.

I think we can all agree that the administrator premium is very fair, and could even be improved and made more expensive.

So lets go a step further and evaluate the remaining premium features. Innogames obviously needs to make some money on this game, and they deserve to as it appears to have the potential to be a great game.

Personally I don't mind the fact that people can pay for 30% more resources, and cutting building times in half. An active player without the merchant can make most of this up through farming.

Even if you have unlimited resources, you can only spend them as fast as your barracks and senate complete their queues- allowing active farmers to keep pace.

I do have a serious problem with the other three types of premium, as frankly you should not be able to win battles just because you have more money then your neighbor.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but people play strategy games because they want some element of thinking and planning to go into their conquests. Victory at the hands of your deeper wallet is not challenging in the least. I don't want to win or lose that way.

Yeah that's correct, and what more you have villages that more you have to think when you are using that option which cuts production times to half.

If this game would have only two premiums: Administrator and resources one, I would pay for that, but having 5 different premiums is just too much :/
