Sorry for the late answer but these days' problems completely made me forget about this topic.

Technically yes, is possible to start the world simply withouht the event, but this means that daily updates must be different from worlds with the event and worlds without and this can lead to an useless waste of time and probably to some unexpected errors, that's why it's better to wait until the event ends.

I'm so sorry, we really want to open this world as soon as possibile, but without causing other problems. I hope you can understand our point of view.

This is just a beta market, for new worlds more often there are live markets (for example on international server a new world started just yesterday, see Mesembria).
