Regarding server restting

Will this entire server be reset when World 1 is offcially launched? And will we need to re-register our account names again?

Also will the exact date World 1 officially opens be announced in advance? As I have some friends who want to play on launch day. And wed like to prepare in advance etc.

Also one further question, I am considering buying premium if it lets me and if the server resets will I lose any current premium I have? Or has premium purchase been disabled in beta versions?

Considering that the currently used site has 'beta' in the address, I am assuming that the public launch will be a different site. Thus we will have to re-register our names.

Premium I don't know about.

And I am pretty sure that the real launch will be well announced.

I've heard InnoGames rumors that it might happen already in January. I'm not quite sure, if this is trustable as the person is a Publicition in InnoGames and not developer.

Domi (product manager) have tell me that it would be in january for .net and end february for .fr - But anyway, this kind of date are never the truth but only what staff hope...

Well, is there already known a little bit more about this than 'it will be soon'? It is a little bit annoying to know the server would be reset at 28.12.09 and still it isn't done. Will it still be done or not? :) If it will be done, when?

As long as their database for "our world" keeps it's references there is no need to reset the server to change the domain name, that is, no reason to reset the database and accounts. The domain change will require reboots most likely, but not data being reset in regards to customer accounts.

The better reason to reset the accounts is to get people who have already spent hard earned monies building their kingdom to have to do it all over again... (This also helps make it fair for new customers to get an even chance, instead of BP wearing off and them being farmed by players several levels advanced of them)

Based on that premise, I would say it's a matter of why and when, not if...

That is the single most important reason why I haven't bought any "gold" on this server... Until it's known the server is stable and won't be reset, I won't risk investment just to lose my advancement and cash.

The game will still be fun to play, and even more challenging as paying players will grab all of the resources they can, even stomping on lower players to do so... just trying to get as big as they can before reset day.
