Like Grepolis? please vote

Grepolis has been nominated for the Browser Game of the year 2009! Of course this is for the german version as we haven't offically launched the english version yet but if you like what you have seen so far please vote for us at the link below:

I like it how ever I hope this game does not end up like Ikariam. On Ikariam you can only occupy city and not take it over. I hope with Grepolis you can take over cities.

Actually jsut posted in the Grepolis thread on the west forum.

Lovely game, nice graphics but remonds me of a greek version of Tribal wars.

Only thing that got to me in Tribal was that you could be nobled out the game and then had to restart again in the world, build yourself up and it is really time cosuming, not to mention that is does get annoying. Ok well, this never happened to me, I managed to noble about 150 villages in my time which of course I removed a few people out the game.

Is this the same as Grepolis? Nice thing about the west (probably why I'm still playing) is that you do not get wiped out and start again the the world. If you get KOed you sleep and all is happiness without losing anything.

Games like this after playing Tribal Wars I avoid and will only play in beta.

Just my thought on it, that's all!

Similar to Tribalwars, which I kind of like. Except the premium is well over powered and unbalanced. Regardless of bonuses I think I'd end up buying it once the world is fully released, but the bonuses they currently give are stupid :\

Yes, you can take over cities - once you've researched a certain technology (in the Academy) that is.

I think it is very good :)
I play this now as much as i do tw :)
Which is quite a lot! ;)
Just need to change some things from German to English and its done :)

hmmm, I'd rather have it a little closer to tribalwars and steer a little further away from ikariam, I noticed that in ikariam, you had to pay loads to win, its a huge money waster when you could be playing games like tribalwars where the premium is only used when you like the game, you have an advantage but when games are timebased, I dun like the fact that others get more resources cause they pay. its not fair for the people that like a challenge, yeah, I might pay but the people around me won't :(

I hope you do not get as "ikariam" For in "ikariam" so we took the town and colony creates hope this game go a little toward the tribal wars that we can dominate the cities of other players and show our true military might strategic and even better!
kkkk as I am of "Brazil" also hope to be translated and still continue playing in England because veca undoubtedly make many friends here!

Game is really good if we don't include premium which is ridiculous because it games amazing benefit. Which means that you don't need skill to win in this game.

Premium is like "Iwin-button".

Very similar to TW, I haven't read a single tutorial or instructional page and I instantly knew what to do. That said, it is different enough to be new and interesting. Unfortunately the huge advantage of premium would deter me from playing seriously or at all after beta.

Agree. I voted. Grepolis is better than Ikariam, and Travian, of course. Although Grepolis is currently beta -version, I like that pretty much. Something there is better, but dunno what. :confused:

so far i like it, but it's expensive for a game of this type so that before all will make me quit playing.

This games is pretty good at the moment. I am interested to see what it is like later on as I only just started. I am just eagerly awaiting all the greek names that wil get created for this game. :)

The game is good, but the first thing that came to mind was IKARIUM. I also find that there is too many bonuses. I didnt check them all but I feel that their is a certain unbalance in this.

Im starting to get into it actually...

I play another browser game akin to TW, which mentioning the name of is going to get me much hate mail etc... :D

Its good, its good... :)

So far I like Grepolis better than TW. There's more variables in it.
