I logged a bug Issue Number 2720 an hour ago and it's still unconfimed even with another player confirming this was an issue. I would have thought that a show stopper like this Grepolis team would be all over it?

As already commented in the bug report. We will update beta now to fix the problem. Thanks for reporting. Hope everything will work again after the update.

Honestly I have no concrete numbers, I cannot say, it was 30% before and now its 50% as the formula is not that easy.
Well best would be to use the simulator in the live version and compare it with the one we have on the beta now. There you should see the differences.
