Clicking city names...

Hi,

I just started the test server for world 3... the 2.0 version. When I go ranking -> players -> click on player -> click on players city, the click on the players city doesnt do anything. Is there no longer a way to highlight the city on the map or what is going on??

Cheers,

mango97

i mean when i am viewing a player in the ranking page and i click on the guy who is ranked first in the world. It then comes up with his profile, awards, name, alliance & cities. When I click on a city, it doesnt show me where that city is located on the map, like it does in the old grepolis.

There's a brownish arrow over the city. It may not be obviously visible, but it's there.

I'm having the same problem as mango; I can't find any way to bring up another player's city on the map. The solutions you mentioned are only if you have multiple cities; they have nothing to do with going to someone else's city on the map. There is no "center the map on this city" symbol next to cities when you bring up another player's profile.

than this context menu should appear there you click "senate building with the green arrow" where my red arrow points to

than all windows should close (downside of this function) and the map should change to the town and show an arrow over the town

Thanks for the screenshots, DK. I was also using Internet Explorer, & when I click on city names, absolutely nothing happens. The context menu does not show up, nor do I get any error messages. It seemed like they had fixed the bugs & this version was working with IE, but obviously not. I tried it on Firefox, & the menu shows up & I can go to a city.

when clicking the "Go To" button

when you click on a city on your island it gives you several options...
one of the options is "go to". once you click it a large arrow points above that city. what is this? it is not support or attack so what is it?

it moves the map to the island where the town is and points with an arrow on it

well that feature seems pointless. unless on the screen it gave you an icon so you can quickly go back to it...kind of like a bookmark. that would be better.

so how do you find an town of some player on the map without the "go to" function? only thing bad about it is that it close all windows same with the large map should only minimize

Grepolis unfortunately does work very well with IE, it is recommended to play this with a different browser. Firefox, Chrome, perhaps even Opera, will work better for you.

Clicking city names is currently buggy in a variety of scenarios. It's being worked on.

With FF for a short time this was broken for reports, but was still working from the player overview. Now its working from reports as well again. Did not test with IE.
