2nd village

I've looked and not seen a thread for this,

So can somone please tell me how do you get more than 1 village in this game, is it the same as TW where you have to attack with a unit like nobles?

Yes, you must attack with colony ship and also you must have enough cultural level.

I was under the impression you could either colonise with a colony ship (empty city spaces are visible on deserted islands), or develope the conquer technology to conquer opponents cities. Either way you need to have sufficient culture points.
