the update to version 2.104 will take place on Friday, 15th of January. To keep your gaming experience undisturbed please expect a small downtime.

Summary


In this version we still worked on improving the battle point village system according to your feedback and bug reports. Besides that we implemented the "travel time simulator" to the attack and support screens. Please give us feedback on it, so we can further improve it to make it fitting for your needs.

New features


  • The new travel time simulator is ready for you. You can access it from the attack and support screens via the small button next to the attack/support button. In this simulator you can easily compare travel time of all possible units to a selected target.

Battle Point Villages:

  • We change the layout of the cards, in order to distinguish better between costs and the resources, you will get. The tabs at the top have been realigned. The tooltip for the upgrade button shows the benefits of the upgrade now.

  • We copied the sounds for getting resources, upgrading and trading from the old farming villages and added them to the new villages.
  • The name of the farming village is now to be displayed in the trade activity, so you know better, what trades are currently ongoing.
  • While upgrading a farming village you will now be able to keep using the features "collect resources" or "accept units".
  • In order to avoid negative population and full storage at the start of the game, we increased the starting values for the farm (now: 114 free population with level 1) and for the warehouse (1000 warehouse capacity with level 1). Only values for the first 10 levels are different than before, no changes to the end levels.
  • We have reduced the costs for building and upgrading farming villages.
  • We have re-balanced the defending units/cool-down times and rewards for the bandits camp.
  • On BPV worlds, it won't be possible any more to skip the questline for experienced players, because the rewards from the quests are mandatory for being able to make good progress in the bandits camp.

Bugfixes


  • Sometimes farming village fights could not take place because the required unit strength of the player decreased or another farming village has been conquered in the meantime. We created a new report for this case, telling the player why the fight didn't happen and the units return.

  • Players who lost all towns on a world, couldn't accept alliance invitations afterwards, now they can do it.
  • When having more than 9999 new messages, reports or forum entries, the corresponding menu item got overlapped by the number. We adjusted that and will display 999+, if you have more than 999 entires.

  • Hall of Fame. Some alliances with the award "Master of the world" were not listed in the Hall of Fame.

  • Combining several negative effects affecting the resource production, caused a display bug in the tooltips.

  • Only for beta: Monthly free gold was not given out on the beta. From now on players that were active in the last 40 days, will receive 300 gold every month.
  • Only for beta: When restarting on zz2 beta server, you start again with 5 cities but the culture points were not set to the correct value of 30. We fixed that.
  • Besides these issues we also fixed several bugs that were connected to our questsystem. For example players couldn't complete certain quests, help arrows were not shown at the right places, island quests behave not like intended sometimes and more.
  • This update also contains several bugfixes for our Battle Points Villages feature, we are currently testing on our beta servers. Thanks for all your feedback about this feature, it helps to increase the quality and solve a lot of bugs.
