Over the course of the next couple of days, we will roll out some changes to our known user interface in regards to the positioning of the gold balance.
Our goal is to improve the user interface to keep it as understandable and user friendly as possible, both for newcomers to the game and Grepolis veterans. Therefore we have decided to move the gold balance to the top right of the screen, right next to all other resources that are relevant in your daily gameplay. This way, you don't have to check several places to get an overview of your current capacities for resources and premium alike.
Of course we have also heard your feedback regarding inconveniences with small screen resolutions and we are aware that other elements on the right side of the screen are now pushed a little further down. For that same reason, we have already started on improving on the scaling of some other interface elements, which are also located in the bottom right corner of the screen, i.e. the event and offer buttons, and will continue to monitor the situation accordingly.
Please be aware that this interface adjustment may result in minor placement issues with custom UI elements of 3rd party user scripts. In order to keep these issues manageable, however, we have made some adjustments ourselves to keep the impact to users of the most popular 3rd party scripts as small as possible. Should you encounter interface issues after the aforementioned changes, please try deactivating the scripts nonetheless to confirm whether or not the issue was caused by external scripts.
The changes to the user interface will be rolled out starting on March 13 and will become available to all users over the course of the next days, latest once a new game session is started. If you would like to enforce the change, please reload the game after on March 13 (using CTRL+F5) to see the changes.
