Feedback: Update to version 2.152

We are looking forward to your feedback about version 2.152.

I have absolutely no idea, why this quest have not any convoying ship, like a light ship or a Trireme. Please be so kind, to ask game design to add it here, because it isn't self explaining, and so the player really wonder, why after an attack with such a squadron all ships will sink without any benefit, don't they?

It's an advanced quest and when a player will have a town big enough to fit all those troops, I think he should be smart enough to know that before attacking he has to escort this fleet with some battle ships... but I'll pass the feedback :)
 
The tutorial as a whole is the worst and most ridiculous I have ever seen in any game, but those "advanced" quests are really topping it all. They are rotting in my zz7 account, I refuse completing them even for test purposes.

For more than a year we have been asking to list the "advanced" quests (implemented in August 2016 if I remember correctly) in the Wikis so that we all would have a solid basis for further discussions about that nonsense consisting of endless repetitions and unrealistic requirements - but as it seems Inno is well aware that they should be ashamed of the course the "tutorial" has taken. Just have a look in the status of the quest list in the EN Wiki, showing the quest status of 2013 - and that´s more or less the same in all language versions.

In the German forums the tutorial has been nick-named "torturial" long ago - and not without reason.

Sure, although it's not a major change:

Old:
Rituals add special effects to spells in addition to their regular effects.
New:
Rituals add special effects to spells you cast in addition to the spells’ regular effects.
 
Oh, I see.

When reading that sentence in the changelog, I had hoped for a moment that our friends in Hamburg might have noticed what is wrong with the new descriptions. But that hope should have stayed in Pandora´s box...:(
 
First of all: Did anybody check whether the new spell menu and its placement corresponds with the minimum resolution supported? I cannot check it at the moment but some people are already telling me that some windows are overlapping the menu. Let´s wait and see...

And: The red x for the closing of all windows is wandering to the left of the spell menu once it is opened. The red x will be overlapped by the windows it is supposed to be closing. Very clever, indeed.

Secondly: Why are some spell icons missing in the new spell menu? Plague, Lightning and Earthquake, as far as I can see. What happened to them?

And thirdly: I have never seen something so carelessly thrown into the game and in such an unaesthetic way. Did the event plunder your complete budget for graphics/layout?

Close all windows are missing with small screen. Could this somebody confirm?

It´s always the same: Keep your hand off the things that are working without causing much trouble. It is always worse afterwards, and I am sick of it.

I think this spell menu is for your town. Do you want them to your town?:)

I will decide whether I want them on one of my cities, not Inno.

Did you never cast earthquake on one of your cities, btw? Depends on the situation, don´t you think?

I've never send them to myself
But I remember some people (in conquest) asked for help with wall down in their cities))

It's ways more common to misslick on an earthquake on our own town rather than super pro tactics, but if you are in the second category, you can still do it from the map.

No Arci, I don´t agree.

Whenever you tried to cast a negative spell on one of your cities, you got a confirmation prompt, warning you that you will inflict damage on your city. It was absolutely impossible to inflict that damage by "missclicking".

Now you must close all windows (if you find the red x somewhere beyond them), jump to your city on the map, open the spell menu on the city and click earthquake - only to get the same confirmation prompt warning you that you will inflict damage to your city.

It´s complete and utter nonsense, and if that´s the reason given for the deletion of the negative spells from the spell menu, I must ask all those involved whether they know the game they are changing at random. You cannot even disable that confirmation prompt, btw.

I am absolutely unhappy with those changes, both for optical and for functional reasons, and somehow I guess that I will not be the only one feeling that way. Have you had a look on the situation on a device with the minimum screen resolution? It´s awful.
 
The confirmation prompts are not my opinion, they are a fact.

If the spell menu has been mutilated for no other reason than the fear of "missclicking" (which is and has been impossible because of the confirmation prompts) I would expect to see it revised and completed again.
