Feedback: Olympus Rebalancing and changes

Olympus will spawn either after all Large Temples were conquered, or after a pre-defined period of time. That fixed period of time lasted for only 19 days on zz21, and 12 or 13 days out of these 19 days were blocked by temple shielding (which is absolutely nonsensical in the Large Temple stage).

Thus Olympus spawned when it was supposed to spawn, but there was not enough time to conquer the Large Temples (or to reorganize the assignment of the temples to "specialized" alliances in preparation for its spawning. The mess was created by the temple shielding and other changes, e.g. the increased defence of the temples and Olympus,, It was not a bug, technically speaking.

Btw, as we all know the unconquered Large Temples do not disappear after Olympus has spawned, but that incorrect information was never deleted from the info tab of the Olympus window.

According to the German CoMa, there was a change in the behaviour of the Curse of Olympus in update 2.247. That change is missing in the Beta changelog - could you please add it and explain it in detail?

Sure :)

There was an issue where the Olympus Curse would not kill units in armies with less than 20 units. This issue has been fixed now and the curse should always kill at least 1 unit.

That was not an issue/bug, but the new behaviour is a change.

The 5% curse cannot kill any unit when less than 20 units are sent, and thus the curse worked correctly. Now, when players will lose at least one unit even if they send less than 20...

... the desrription of the curse must be changed ingame and in the wiki
... and the change will result in players sending 39 units per city, since they will lose one unit per city anyway.

That leads me to the serious question, why that change was made in the first place?

Another topic:

From the start we have been proposing to condense the reports regarding the Curse of Olympus (and other spells, such as Chain Lightning/Lightning Bolt etc.) in the same way the reports regarding attacks on support have been bunched up to one report stating the total losses and the losses per city.

Currently we are getting lots of report spam without any real information, because even the city name is missing in the hundreds of curse reports we are amassing during the conquest and from now (due to the change discussed above) on each day Olympus is held.

Isn´t it possible to reduce the number of those spam reports by bundling them up, and to add the information regarding the cities affected by the curse?
