Changelog 2.152

Dear Community,
today we deployed the first daily update to the version 2.152.

For a quicker reference, this post is empty for the first day, and will be updated in order to have every update grouped at the same place so stay tuned!

Summary

  • The Changelog has been released succesfully!

New Features and Changes

  • Rituals description has been rephrased to state more clearly that the ritual works in combination with another specific divine power.
  • Towns located in a World Wonder island are now attackable if the town owner is banned, on both attackable and non attackable ban type.
  • Pandora's Box layout has been slightly adjusted in order to fit some longer texts that may occur on the different localizations of the game.
  • The spell menu on main game UI will now be displayed next to the units on the right side of the screen, and it will no longer hide the units menu.
    • You can see both units and spells at the same time.
    • The daily reward icon has been moved to the left side, below the tutorial/island missions.
    • NOTE: Some external tools may cause display issues, if this is your case please try to disable the scripts and do a forced refresh (Ctrl+F5).

  • The new spell UI now opens and closes with a double animation.
  • The beginner's protection can be ended by attacking / spying another player while still having the effect.

Event info

  • Functionality of Tyche's Advent Calendar has been adjusted to balance the chance of getting specific items in accordance to their value.
    • Every wheel contains 6 specific items that can be selected by spinning the wheel.
    • Each item has a certain value, from regular to rare to very powerful. The chances of getting these items now scale with this value, giving more powerful items less of a chance of being obtained than regular ones.
    • These chances are highlighted through the background color of the respective item on the wheel. The brighter the glow, the smaller the chances of getting the respective item on the first spin.

    • After recent feedback, we came to the conclusion that powerful items should remain special and rare, thus they shouldn't have exactly the same chance of getting selected as other, less powerful items. This should also have a positive impact on the overall balancing of the game during the event.
