Account Activation

Don't know if it is already mentioned or not. but the game don't send any mail for activating the account the normal way. even requesting it again doesn't work.

But how i activated it?(for those waiting to find a way to activate it)
in the game, if you go to "Settings" and "Email Address" and request the activation mail from there, it will send you an activation mail. at least it did for me.

This was fixed yesterday so it should be possible for everyone to activate their e-mails now.

You can turn they off in "Settings"

i had a problem too but i went to settings--->email address--->resend email...and then i received an email with the activation code and that's all...

No, it is the activation email. The one in german that keeps coming.
I requested the activation email again, the one in english comed, I activated my account and now the activation email in german keeps coming.

Maybe you tried several times before, to resend the activation mail?

And now when this bug is fixed - it will send it that much emails, as much as you clicked "Resend" before it worked.

Those are probably the notification e-mails. Turn them off in the settings.

Email activation still down for some

I had a friend sign up to play and he still hasn't gotten his activation email..

Today he will have to try the resend button...

We both use gmail, so it's doubtful they would block activation email and not the update emails from reports... since it works fine for me after submitting the resend activation button.

No biggie though, as long as people figure out what to do.

when I saw this thread. I've tried for days to get my account activated and get to the forums. Now I find that the problem was corrected the day I got in. It's poetic.

I'm getting those german emails to, the ones that directly link you back to the game. I also requested the link for activation a few times, but not as many as the emails I'm getting.

Don't worry about the german emails, they're just telling you that a building has been completed.

If you go to settings> email, you can turn off the automatic notifications if you want to.

Oh thanks for getting that out here early on. You've saved some folks a bit of angst. I've been running things through an online translator.

And by the way Saza, the biggest problem people are/were having in not being able to activate, is that you couldn't register and get into the forums to see if anything was being posted to help with activation.
